These five .07 carat, Natural Rubies have vivid blood red color! Photos are taken under professional lighting and are magnified at 50x zoom to show details that may not be visible to the naked eye. The ring is clearly hallmarked 14K on the inside of the 1.65mm band. When worn, the top of the ring/stone is elevated about 4.00mm from the finger.

The red color is caused mainly by the presence of the element chromium. Its name comes from ruber, Latin for red.
