The 0.14 carat, Natural Grandidierite has vivid saturation and excellent clarity with no visible inclusions, and is a vibrant blue-green color! Pictures have been magnified at 50x zoom to show details that may not be visible to the naked eye. Accenting the rare gemstone are 1.75mm round brilliant cut, natural Diamond accents (2 total) that are I color with VS2-VS1 clarity and weigh a combined total of 0.04 carats. The ring is clearly hallmarked 14K on the inside of the 1.75mm band. When worn, the top of the ring/stone is elevated about 8.00mm from the finger.

A rather rare mineral, lovely blue-green Grandidierite has a hardness of 7.5, which makes it very resistant to scratching and ideal for jewelry use. However, it also has perfect and good cleavage in two directions, which makes it challenging to cut so it is seldom seen in gem or jewelry collections because faceted pieces are very rare. While its scarcity has made the Grandidierite a relatively little-known gemstone, they display three different colors depending on the viewing angle: dark blue-green, colorless (sometimes very light yellow), or dark green, making this a rare gemstone that is sure to captivate and wow!

**Currently a size 6 ¼ but could be sized, free of charge, by my master jeweler so that it is ready to be gifted or worn upon arrival! Most rings can be sized a maximum of 3-4 sizes up or down depending on the style of the ring. I do not accept returns on items that have been custom sized or altered at your request so if you are unsure about an item it may be best to have it sized by your local jeweler just in case.
